From the south on I-26

    From the south on I-26:
  1. North on I-26
  2. East on I-240 (not I-40)
  3. As you come over the rise with the French Broad River 4-lane bridge in front of you, and Asheville just past that, move over to the next to the left lane.
  4. Stay on I-240
  5. Take exit 4C, marked "Montford Ave." and "Haywood Street"
  6. Left at the light at the top of the exit onto Montford
  7. Left at the next light onto Haywood
  8. Right lane past Civic Center on left
  9. After about one block, turn left onto Walnut Street between the Malaprop's Cafe/Bookstore and our tall, white building
  10. After 1/4 block, turn right into Rankin parking deck
  11. Park and exit to the north (out the way you drove in) onto Walnut Street
  12. Walk up Walnut Street. Our building is the only building on your left. Above the entrance is a large "84 W Walnut" sign.
  13. Using the buzzer system: press "3" until our name comes up, then press "#".
  14. That will ring our phone, and we can buzz you in.

    From the south on US-25:
  1. Stay on US-25 all the way into town.
  2. Just one block past Pack Square, where the Vance monument (similar to, but much smaller than, the Washington monument) will have been seen on your right,
  3. Turn left on College Street. Green Sage Cafe is on the corner; you should see its sign as you turn.
  4. Second right onto Rankin Street
  5. First left into the Rankin parking deck.
  6. Park and exit to the north onto Walnut Street
  7. Walk up Walnut Street. Our building is the only building on your left. Above the entrance is a large "84 W Walnut" sign.
  8. Using the buzzer system: press "3" until our name comes up, then press "#".

  3. As you get close to Asheville, get in the right-hand lane and stay alert!

  5. Move QUICKLY to the right-hand lane
  6. Take exit 4C, marked "Montford Ave." and "Haywood Street"
